Join filmmaker Prakash Wadhwa for a screening of his film “From the Land of Gandhi.” The film tells the story of 4 high-skilled immigrant families, a decade after they came to study in the US, and places a human face to the employment-based Green Card backlog. The film also highlights the need for reforming America’s high-skilled immigration at a time of intense globalization and retirement of the baby boomers. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring the filmmaker and an immigration attorney to provide context to this issue with Kentucky perspective.
